Chris Park, principal with Deloitte Consulting LLP, works to help clients improve shareholder value through better environmental, social and sustainability performance. As lead principal for the Sustainability & Climate Change offering, Chris leads the portfolio of consultative offerings for companies to improve sustainability, social and environmental performance, corporate responsibility, energy and climate change. Chris focuses on the full range of business issues comprising sustainability, including climate change, alternative and renewable energy, corporate responsibility, sustainability supply chain, technology and strategy, smart grid and social impact.
Recognizing the growing importance of social and environmental performance in building sustainable businesses, Chris has defined the elements of the "Wholly Sustainable Enterprise," an organization that generates growth, profitability and value by transforming itself to use sustainable practices throughout the company. Value-generating transformations can occur in many dimensions: the workplace, the workforce, sustainable products and services, supply chain, technology enablement, governance & risk and stakeholder engagement. Sustainability continues to grow in importance and visibility as a key area of business performance.
With more than 16 years of consulting experience with Deloitte, Chris has served companies in the life sciences, health care, manufacturing, education, banking, federal and retail sectors. He serves on the Board for the Michigan Social Venture Fund and the Impact Reporting and Investment Standards (IRIS) Taxonomy Committee.
Chris is a registered architect with both master's and bachelor's degrees in architecture and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Michigan.

Chris has recently led engagement work with clients developing Sustainability Strategy & Roadmap Development and GRI Reporting Readiness and Content Development. “It is very gratifying to see our clients produce public-facing sustainability & corporate responsibility reports with an increasing degree of transparency and analytical rigor and basing the content of those reports, at least in part, on the work we’ve done with them on strategy development.
