    In late 2012, Deloitte surveyed oil and gas professionals and members of the general population. The oil and gas executives were asked for their views on a wide range of forward-looking issues, including the outlook for U.S. energy self-sufficiency, prices, regulatory issues, and the accuracy of natural gas resource estimates.
