2012 Energy Compliance Survey Highlights
Over the past few years, existing regulations for emerging companies have continued to evolve and a new set of regulations regarding derivatives has emerged, creating new challenges for many.
In this environment, compliance may seem like a moving target. Different regulatory bodies may require varying levels of attention from year to year. New or changing regulations have the ability to upend expectations at a moment’s notice and investments in compliance activities may need to shift just as quickly.
In keeping with our previous surveys, we focus on four main areas:
- Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC)
- North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC)
- Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC)
- Enterprise compliance
Download this paper for a closer look at some of the key highlights in each of the four main areas.
