Deloitte Consulting LLP Principal Sam Silvers gives “breathing lessons.” In his work with CFOs and their financial departments, he sees their frantic pace firsthand and, like any good breathing teacher, offers insight on how to slow down and focus on what really matters.
As the national service line leader for the Deloitte Consulting LLP Financial Management Consulting practice, which includes finance transformation, finance operations and integrated performance management consulting services, Sam has significant experience in the areas of finance transformation, financial and management reporting, financial close optimization, finance organizational design and talent management, financial consolidation and general accounting processes, finance information strategy, business planning, budgeting and forecasting, activity-based management, merger and acquisition integration, financial analysis and other core financial process improvements.
Sam has written many articles and white papers, and he is a frequent speaker on issues facing the CFO and finance organization. He graduated from Drexel University with a bachelor of science degree in business administration. He earned a master in business administration degree from Temple University.
