BioWilliam Snyder is a principal with Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP (Deloitte FAS) and the national service line co-leader for its Corporate Restructuring Group. With executive and entrepreneurial experience spanning more than 30 years, William brings with him a wealth of experience in restructuring, managing, and guiding a multitude of companies in a variety of industries. As a broadly experienced interim executive and advisor having participated in the restructuring of more than 70 companies, William has demonstrated a results-driven leadership style to complex and crisis situations. As a chief restructuring officer, he has served his clients across a variety of different industries including health care, manufacturing, retail, energy, construction, and sports. William has worked for several prominent national firms running major assignments prior to founding his own firm in 2001. He has served as an interim-officer/Examiner/Trustee in more than 20 bankruptcies. Earlier in his career, William was president of his own financial consulting company, The Snyder Company, where he managed family investments that included operating companies, limited partnerships, and securities. William earned his bachelor’s degree, cum laude, in computer science from Texas A&M University. He is a certified turnaround professional and has received numerous distinctions over the years, including being named to Turnarounds & Workouts’ 2007 People to Watch list, an honor he shares with 11 professionals nationwide. William is a frequent speaker and presenter on a wide range of turnaround topics.
