Robin Lineberger is the CEO for Deloitte Federal Government Services and serves on the Executive Committee for the Deloitte U.S. Firms.
As a $1.3 billion practice with more than 6,100 employees, Deloitte Federal Government Services provides consulting, risk advisory, and financial advisory services to every Cabinet-level agency in the U.S. government, and it is among the Top 20 federal contractors on the Washington Technology Top 100 list.
Prior to joining Deloitte, Robin was the Executive Vice President responsible for BearingPoint's Global Public Services business unit, a 4,500-person business unit. Robin drove several transformative initiatives in Public Services. He led development of a comprehensive solution portfolio to meet the distinct needs of public sector clients (which grew to more than 1,400 professionals under his leadership), and establishment of solution centers of excellence and an on-shore development center based in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, to reduce program costs and risks for clients.
Robin's career also includes 24 years as a solutions strategist and systems integration specialist with BearingPoint, and four years in development and testing as a commissioned officer with the U.S. Air Force.
In late 2012, Robin was inducted into the Washington 100, a premier group of leaders who drive innovation and growth at the intersection of the public and private sectors. In May 2011, Robin was awarded the Outstanding Achievement Award in Industry by the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association’s (AFCEA) Bethesda chapter. The award honors an individual whose contributions to the field are felt beyond his organization and whose work provides outstanding support to government-wide initiatives. Robin recently was selected to join the TechAmerica Commission on the Leadership Opportunity in the U.S. Deployment of the Cloud (CLOUD2), which will provide the Obama Administration with recommendations for how the government could deploy cloud technologies and how public policy will help drive U.S. innovation in the cloud. Robin was singled out as a “One to Watch in 2011” by ExecutiveBiz. In June 2009, Robin was selected as one of Consulting Magazine's Top 25 Most Influential Consultants. He was listed on the Federal 100 list in 2004, and as one of the top 100 most influential people in the Federal IT industry by Federal Computer Week. He is co-author of The Art of Business Process Management and the Johnson Space Center's Work Process Improvement Guidebook.
Robin is an advisory board member of Ride to Recovery (a Veteran rehabilitation support organization) and an Executive member of the Washington, DC, capital area Leukemia Foundation’s annual Gala committee, where he is also this year’s Senior Chair. He is a board member of the Professional Services Council, the Northern Virginia Technology Council where he serves as treasurer, and the Technology Association of America. He is also Co-chair of the National Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition Advisory Board. He also serves as a mentor to separated veterans through the American Corporate Partners program.
Robin is an avid cyclist, recently joining 200 cyclists in the Ride2Recovery Texas Challenge in Spring 2011 and crossing the 350-miles between San Antonio and Austin to raise awareness and financial support of efforts to improve the health and wellness of injured veterans.
Robin holds an M.B.A. in Information Systems Management from Oklahoma City University and a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics from Southwest Texas State University.
