BioRebecca C. Amoroso is Vice Chairman and Deloitte's U.S. Insurance Industry Leader. Supported by more than 2,400 professionals, Deloitte’s insurance practice provides services to more than 50 of the top 100 U.S. insurance companies in both the life and property & casualty sectors. Rebecca is responsible for leading the development and execution of solutions to help our clients meet their most critical and complex challenges. Rebecca has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry and has led Deloitte’s Actuarial, Risk & Analytics practice prior to taking on her current role as National Insurance Industry Leader. She has been a major driver in developing and promoting innovative and emerging service offerings, such as the use of predictive models for underwriting and claims, risk management, and talent management for the insurance industry. Rebecca was named the 2008 APIW Insurance Woman of the Year, and was recognized as one of Business Insurance magazine's "2008 Women to Watch." She is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society, Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and has been honored as one of the “Top 50 Hispanic Women in Business.” |
