BioPat Conroy is the vice chairman and leader of the U.S. Consumer Products practice at Deloitte LLP (Deloitte). This national practice provides audit, tax, financial advisory and consulting services to consumer product manufacturers. As the national leader of one of the largest industry practices at Deloitte, comprising more than 2,400 professionals, Pat is responsible for managing and building eminence for the industry practice and leading the development of service initiatives. Pat has been an advisor to many of the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry’s leading chief executive officers and c-suite level management. His experience of more than 20 years, leading both domestic and international consulting engagements within the consumer products industry, ranges from strategic business planning to detailed implementation of operations and technology initiatives. He has also authored several leading points-of-view, including "Dollar store strategies for national brands," "Rethinking the role of IT for CPG companies" and "I have not yet begun to shop..or have I?" Pat is one of Deloitte's designated spokespeople on consumer products trends and has been widely quoted in the media and publications such as SmartMoney magazine , U.S. News & World Report and the CIO Journal of the Wall Street Journal. He is a frequent speaker on topics ranging from the annual consumer product industry outlook, garnering up to 16 million viewers, to the American Pantry Study, which takes a deeper look into consumer behaviors and attitudes toward shopping.
