Diana O’Brien is the global and U.S. lead client service principal for Merck, the Deloitte LLP Market Development managing principal, and the DTTL global client portfolio leader. She serves on the DTTL Executive Committee, DTTL Global Markets Committee, Deloitte LLP U.S. Executive Committee and Deloitte Consulting Board of Directors.
In her Market Development role, Diana manages the client lifecycle for all relationship clients, including client experiences, sales, marketing and pursuits. She also oversees Deloitte’s national industry program, geography leadership and growth strategies. Currently executing a market development “transformation,” Diana’s focus is on improving the organization’s ability to build and strengthen critical relationships, deliver value and excellence to clients and build the best leaders in the profession.
As the global client portfolio leader, she helps build the infrastructure and capabilities that enable global LCSPs and account teams to unleash the power of our firm’s global network with our most important clients. She is responsible for developing efficient and effective processes, policies and guidelines that support global client management and growth.
Since joining Deloitte in 1985, Diana has held a number of leadership roles, including serving as the first managing principal for Talent Development and Deloitte University, as well as the leader of Deloitte Consulting’s Life Sciences practice.
In addition to her work at Deloitte, Diana is actively involved in the community. She is the chairman and founder of IMPACT Autism and supports several nonprofits focused on autism. Diana also supports the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center and has been named one of the Leading Women of Greater Cincinnati by Leading Women Inc.
Diana currently resides in Cincinnati with her husband, David, and her children, Megan, Kelly and Andrew.
