BioCary is the National Managing Partner for Deloitte's Asset Management Services group, which serves the hedge fund, private equity, and mutual fund industries in matters involving audit, tax, consulting, and financial advisory services. The Asset Management Services sector is one of the fastest growing industry sectors within Deloitte and represented over $820 million in revenues in fiscal year 2011. Prior to his election as National Managing Partner, Cary served as the Midwest Regional Leader for the Financial Services Audit practice and served as Midwest Regional Leader for the Asset Management Services group. He has served as lead partner for hedge fund, private equity, and mutual fund clients with more than $250 billion in assets under management, collectively. Cary was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Managed Funds Association in 2009 and currently serves on the Board of Hedge Funds Care. He has been a featured speaker for a number of national industry associations, where he has addressed significant accounting and regulatory matters including, Dodd-Frank, valuation, best execution, and governance and oversight.
