BioCarmen Oveissi Field is principal in the Discovery practice at Deloitte Financial Advisory ServicesLLP. She has over nineteen years of experience in information technology, with a focus on supporting complex electronic discovery matters. Her consulting engagements have included the design and implementation of litigation labs, the design and management of global data collection projects, the creation of electronic discovery plans and the analysis of electronic discovery vendor policies, procedures and work practices. She has completed security analyses and remediation for multiple industries. Carmen holds a Master of Science in Information Management from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies of Biomedical Ethics from the University of Virginia. She is a member of the Georgetown University Continuing Legal Education Advisory Board for the E-Discovery Institute, is active in the Sedona Conference Working Group on Electronic Document Retention and Production and the Sedona Working Group on International Electronic Information Management and Disclosure, and has been appointed to the New York State Courts Working Group on eDiscovery.
