Meet Jessica Blume

Principal, Deloitte Consulting LLP

Jessica Blume is the national managing director for Enterprise Sustainability, where she leads Deloitte LLP efforts working with organizations to measure, improve and sustain their environmental and social performance. She also is a member of the Board of Directors for Deloitte LLP, the U.S. member firm of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu. Prior to assuming this role, she served as the national managing director of Clients & Industries for Deloitte Consulting LLP.

Jessica has nearly 28 years of experience in transforming business operations across multiple industries. Since joining Deloitte in 1990 (she was admitted as principal in 1995), Jessica has served dozens of clients in the government, health care, manufacturing, consumer business and financial services arenas. She currently serves as the advisory principal and senior partner for four of Deloitte’s major accounts in government, health care and consumer products.

In line with her new role, Jessica often has been instrumental in the development of new services. She was a leader in the formation and development of Deloitte’s Enterprise Applications services and the Human Resource service line, resulting in a broad range of services from strategy to outsourcing in the human resources arena.

During her tenure with Deloitte, Jessica also has served as national managing director public sector, Consulting; regional managing director, Southeast Marketplace, Consulting; managing director, Atlanta Consulting; Regional Service Area leader, Enterprise Application; and regional leader for the Women's Initiative.

She holds a bachelor of science degree in accounting from The University of Central Florida.

My Career High

I had a client that was very resistant to change – specifically to integrated business systems – preferring their custom-made columnar pad to track their daily transactions. I worked with him for months to adapt and in the end seeing him proudly demonstrate the new process and system and talk about the benefits, was very satisfying.
