Deloitte Consulting LLP Principal Michael Boedewig plays the role of both a strategist and a steward to help companies face the most daunting of people-related challenges. Much more than a Human Resources (HR) consultant, he’s a broad-based business consultant who specializes in integrating people issues with business strategy.
With more than 14 years with Deloitte, Michael has served as the Human Capital National Industry leader for energy and the Northeast HR Transformation co-service line leader. Michael’s focus areas within Human Capital consulting include People Strategy/Engagement, HR Service Delivery, Work Force Planning, Talent Management and Work Force Transition.
Michael co-authored Taking HR to the Next Level, a Deloitte white paper that discusses a structured approach to developing and executing an effective HR strategy. He has been a featured speaker on the topic of talent management at numerous oil and gas conferences.
He earned a master of business administration degree from Carnegie Mellon University and a bachelor of science degree and bachelor of arts degree in accounting and mathematics from LaSalle University. He also is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has his Professional Human Resource certification (through the Society for Human Resource Management).
