Deloitte’s annual summer traveler survey gauges leisure travel plans for Memorial Day and summer travel. The survey indicates that many are anticipating an increase in leisure travel for 2012, which would be a welcome boost in customer demand for the hospitality and travel sectors.
Compared to 2011, more Americans are planning to kick-off the summer with a Memorial Day weekend excursion this year; however they are conscientious about travel expenses, according to the new Deloitte study.
