The 2011 Deloitte Alternative Energy Seminar, held September 20-21, 2011, in Scottsdale, addressed the theme, What Changing Attitudes, Economics and Rules Mean for You and Your Business. The plenary sessions focused on the future alternative energy landscape and legislative outlook, and how business strategies are adapting as a result of broader energy industry impacts such as energy management, competing technologies and financing considerations. Other sessions addressed the unique business aspects of renewable and alternative energy. The seminar also offered elective sessions addressing the various technical issues faced by companies operating or investing in the A&RE sector.
