Shale Gas

Technological innovation has continually transformed American life and culture. To the average consumer, industries like media and personal electronics have been visibly transformed. Yet, out of the public eye, recent breakthroughs in horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing technologies have resulted in tremendous access to vast domestic energy reserves at a relatively low cost; and, thus contributing to one of the most important trends in the United States today.
