Meet KC Healy

Director, Federal Energy and Resources Management, Deloitte Consulting LLP

K.C. Healy has 25 years of experience in the energy industry, including 15 years of consulting with Deloitte Consulting LLP and 10 years in industry. During this time, K.C. has served his clients in the areas of alternative energy, business and IT strategy development, business process reengineering, talent and resource management, stakeholder engagement, and portfolio planning and management. His background in ERP design, configuration and deployment, as well as project and program management, allows K.C. to develop implementable and value-focused strategies that can unlock his clients’ business potential while mitigating risk. His experience includes program delivery in the U.S., U.K. and Europe. Prior to joining Deloitte Consulting, K.C. worked for a global energy company in various manufacturing and procurement capacities.  He also has 17 years of active and reserve duty experience in the U.S. Army. 

For the last three years, K.C. has played a leading role in developing and growing Deloitte Consulting’s Alternative Energy and Sustainability initiatives and is now a co-lead of Deloitte Consulting’s Federal Energy and Resources Management practice. These initiatives support Deloitte Consulting clients, project teams and practitioners with alternative and renewable energy focused methodologies, points of view and analysis, and capability building activities. A sample of activities supported includes strategy development for renewable energy (including bio fuels), M&A support, supply chain analysis, feasibility and planning studies, and organizational capability building.

Clients served by K.C. include global and regional energy companies, bio fuels and renewable energy companies, NGO and state government agencies and the U.S. Department of Defense. K.C. is a frequent speaker on alternative energy and sustainability topics and has co-authored a paper (Power From Perspective) on U.S. energy futures with the Howard Baker Center for Public Policy.

K.C. holds a bachelors degree in Nuclear Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, N.Y.
