Gary Adams serves as Vice Chairman of the Oil & Gas Group within Deloitte’s Energy & Resources Group. In this role, he helps oil and gas companies solve their most complex challenges. Most notably, Mr. Adams oversees Deloitte’s significant investment in the sector, while steering Deloitte’s overall delivery of a broad range of cross-spectrum professional services from technology integration and operational consulting to human capital offerings, tax services, financial advisory offerings, and attest services. He also ensures that Deloitte’s services are grounded in a deep understanding of the business drivers and challenges facing its clients, while also providing innovation and thought leadership across all of its efforts.
Mr. Adams has served the oil and gas industry for more than 20 years. He serves on the National Petroleum Council, the advisory board of the University of Texas Energy Management and Innovation Center, the advisory board of the James A. Baker III Institute for Public Policy - Rice University, the advisory group of the Houston Wildcatters, and is a member of the Coronado Club.
Mr. Adams is the recipient of a Bachelor of Business Administration from Abilene Christian University
