Meet Alma Derricks

Director, Deloitte Consulting LLP

Alma Derricks is a customer, media and market strategist with more than 20 years of experience creating and launching new business ventures designed to enrich customer relationships, expand market share and capitalize on the unique capabilities of digital media. As a Director in Deloitte Strategy practice and leader of the "Digital Democracy" and "Gen Y Lab" consumer insights initiatives, Alma specializes in developing brand-driven growth strategies and is responsible for leading the practice's thought leadership in customer engagement, demographic trends and media strategy. She has managed new product launches, branding, content and strategic planning engagements for leading media, broadcasting, live entertainment, telecommunications, consumer products, retail and hospitality clients.

Drawing on a unique combination of television, news, licensing, advertising, content production and interactive media experience, she has developed and produced multiple-medium programming and content networks for a range of internationally acclaimed franchises.

Alma holds a bachelor's degree in International Relations from Stanford University and an MBA from Georgetown University.
