Deloitte employs a collaborative team approach to implementing our quality policies, processes and procedures. Our quality system is visible, verifiable and self-implementing.
DHS and Deloitte participate in planning and review meetings conducted across the contract and Task Order (TO) life-cycle. These reviews and on-going communication provide early identification and eradication of issues and risks, and improve our ability to meet client expectations. DHS customers participate in quality reviews to evaluate delivery against acceptance criteria, identify issues, minimize risk and shorten deliverable turn-around time.
Peer reviews, audits and inspections across the entire Task Order life-cycle, also enable us to capture trends, correct defects and propagate lessons learned via our Corrective Action Reporting (CAR) system
The Quality Management and Control Plans, housed as templates within the Deloitte Delivery Framework, provide specific procedures and checklists for each Task Order. Our collaborative approach applies quality gates across phases, ensuring customer input, enforcing early recognition of critical issues, increasing end-product usability and value, heightening productivity and reducing time-to-delivery.
Progress of product findings are tracked, measured, and reported in weekly and monthly Task Order meetings and reports, while process findings are evaluated and applied to provide continuous improvement through implementation of lessons learned. Both product and process CARS are documented and tracked through closure across the life-cycle of the DHS contract and specific Task Orders.
The provision of quality products and services rests with each member of the EAGLE team. Our CAR approach includes DHS customers in reviews targeted at ensuring product usability and integrity and resulting in product acceptance. CAR is inherent to our quality control system. Our CAR process maximizes early detection and removal of defects and feeds the issue resolution, risk management and continuous improvement processes. This approach minimizes potential cost, schedule and technical impacts.
