George Wright is a Specialist Leader with Deloitte Consulting’s technology, strategy, and architecture group. George came to Deloitte with more than 30 years of experience in aligning information technology (IT) to drive business value, and business process/performance improvements in both the private and public sectors.
George brings to the table management, marketing, and technical experience in areas such as:
- Strategic information system planning
- Enterprise architecture
- Enterprise data warehouse
- Telecommunications network design and implementation
- Enterprise resource planning solutions
- Operations research
- Statistics
- Quality assurance
- Large scale system architecture design
George has extensive experience implementing systems in military, government, and Fortune 100 enterprises within the functional areas of finance, human resources, logistics, sales and marketing, law enforcement, and inventory control.
Prior to joining Deloitte, George served as the Vice President of IT Operations at the U.S. Postal Service (USPS). Prior to that post, he was the Manager of Corporate IT Portfolio at the USPS.
George received his MBA in Operations Research and his Bachelor of Science in Statistics, both from the University of Maryland.
