Rebecca Ranich is a director with Deloitte Consulting LLP. She leads the organization’s Adaptation Initiative and is the co-lead of Deloitte Consulting’s Federal Energy and Resources Management practice. She is a former energy industry executive with more than 25 years of leadership experience.
Rebecca’s practice focuses on strategic energy management investments. She works with both government and industry clients advising on mitigating and managing risks related to energy supply / demand and climate change issues. In addition she brings an experienced perspective on the integration of efficiency improvements and new energy sources with existing infrastructure. Rebecca also advises on the impact of U.S. policy and regulatory initiatives at the State and Federal levels.
Prior to joining Deloitte Consulting, Rebecca was involved in a number of major oil and gas pipeline projects in the Russian Federation, while an executive with a large U.S. engineering firm. During her tenure with the engineering firm she was resident in London, England and managed offices on three continents.
Rebecca is the Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Directors for the Gas Technology Institute and a member of the Global Advisory Committee for the Earth Day Network’s “Women and the Green Economy” (WAGE™) Campaign. Rebecca is a frequent speaker on energy and infrastructure investments.
An honors graduate of Northwestern University (Chicago, Illinois) with an MBA from the University of Detroit. She began her career with the U.S. Library of Congress in Washington, D.C., as a Soviet Industrial Economics Analyst.
