Health Financing – Costing |
Costing health services and strategies can help governments strengthen policies, improve planning and budgeting processes, and advocate for resources to help achieve health targets. Deloitte works with clients to assist them in their efforts to strengthen the use, understanding and availability of health costing information to facilitate evidence-based decision making.
The adaptable costing framework that Deloitte uses supports coordinated multi-sectoral planning and tracks progress against targets and across implementing government and non-government agencies. Deloitte uses a variety of costing approaches including an activity-based costing methodology to develop workable cost estimates in collaboration with government agencies and organizations. We work with stakeholders to identify existing resources that can feed into the costing estimates to break down objectives into costable activities, focusing on prioritized target populations and interventions.
