Meet Mary Corrado
Lead Relationship Director, Deloitte Consulting LLP
Mary Corrado serves as the Lead Relationship Director for the Intelligence Community accounts. In that role, she is responsible for overseeing all Deloitte projects and business development activity in support of Intelligence Community clients.
Prior to joining Deloitte in 2004, Mary had an extensive career serving in the financial management area of the Intelligence Community. She served as the first Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). During that time Mary directed development, justification, and financial execution of a multi-billion dollar budget. Specifically, during her tenure Mary directed the creation of an Agency version of a Pay-for-Performance personnel system. She also supervised five working capital fund enterprises providing financial support to various administrative functions. Prior to her role at the CIA, Mary also served in the financial management area of the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), most recently serving as the Chief Financial Executive. In that role, she served as a member of the acquisition board which adjudicated all issues in the acquisition cycle, prepared annual budget submissions, and supervised successful resolution of related issues with Congress. She also initiated a new, integrated accounting system for a multi-billion dollar budget within one year, produced the first annual financial audit to conform with CFO Act requirements, and developed a professional financial certification program ensuring high skill standards in financial management.
Mary has received numerous honors in her career including the Distinguished Career Intelligence Medal (2005), the CIA Director’s Award (2004), and the NRO Director’s Gold Medal (1999). She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.
