Jitinder Kohli has more than a decade of experience specializing in private sector development and regulatory reform as well as Pay for Success financing and other areas related to increasing government efficiency and innovation. He brings fifteen years of experience as a senior official in a range of agencies in the British government. Highlights include his time as Chief Executive of Better Regulation Executive leading regulatory reform in the UK and as Head of the Productivity and Structural Reform team at the British Treasury responsible for increasing national competitiveness. Jitinder has knowledge in developing and implementing policies that promote economic growth and brings significant experience in a range of policies including skills, antitrust, immigration, and housing market reforms.
Jitinder serves as a senior fellow at the Center for American Progress in Washington, D.C. where he previously led a major project on government reform and continues to publish thought leadership. He has written extensively on ways to help improve the performance of government programs and advised agencies on how to implement change.
