Meet Sean D. Morris

Principal, Deloitte Consulting LLP

Sean Morris is Deloitte’s Lead Consulting Partner for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) practice. In this capacity, he leads solution offerings development and execution, resource management, and new business development across a highly diversified client base at DHS Headquarters, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Transportation Security Agency (TSA), Coast Guard, United States Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS), Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE), and Customs & Border Protection (CBP). Additionally, Sean is the Lead Client Service Partner (LCSP) for DHS Headquarters and USCIS.

Prior to his current role, Sean was responsible for the DHS business at BearingPoint, a large professional services company that Deloitte acquired in 2009. Before leading the DHS business, Sean was the Chief of Staff to the Executive Vice President (EVP) for the company’s global Public Services business unit. In this capacity, he was responsible for supporting the EVP with market development, service delivery and profit and loss through strategic and financial plan execution, and operations improvement. Sean’s more than fourteen years of consulting experience have been highlighted by assignments that conceptualize, design, develop, and implement business solutions through the utilization of enhanced technology and innovative strategies.

Sean is a Board member of The Fishing School, a DC-based charitable organization for at risk children. He is also active in youth sports and currently coaches for the Capitol Hill soccer league. Additionally, he is a guest lecturer on the consulting industry at the George Washington University.

Sean holds an M.A. from The American University and a B.S. from The University of Oregon. Additionally, he has completed Harvard Business School’s executive class titled “Leading Professional Services Firms”. He resides in Washington, DC with his wife and their three children.
