Health Reform Implications and Considerations by Sector

What now?

On March 23, 2010, President Obama signed into law the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. On March 30, 2010, he signed into law the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act. Together, these reforms will trigger sweeping change and disruption across the industry, but they will unfold over years, with many of the major provisions becoming effective in 2014. Industry leaders are asking, “What now?” At Deloitte, we continue to explore and debate the key questions facing the industry, and we look forward to helping our clients find and implement the right answers for their organizations.
