Mr. Gorelick joined Deloitte in 2008 after a 27 year career in the intelligence community. He is a business development director in Financial Advisory Services specializing in issues of national security. He previously served as Chief of Counterproliferation Division at the Central Intelligence Agency from 2000-2003 where he forged strong partnerships with policy makers, and regularly worked with the President, Vice President and other key members of the Cabinet in pursuit of vital national priorities. Mr. Gorelick managed a situation of important budgetary and personnel growth while creating a leadership team, which developed clear strategic goals for a rapidly growing and changing workforce. He also established and maintained strong personal and professional relationships with a wide range of senior foreign government officials particularly in Europe and Latin America. Mr. Gorelick has exceptional senior experience in the formulation and implementation of national policy as well as briefing of intelligence and national security issues to cabinet level U. S. and foreign government policy makers. He has extensive overseas experience and a strong background in managing crisis situations in a variety of foreign contexts.
