Kate Thompson has 25 years of experience leading large, multinational organizations and complex foreign assistance programs in the private and public sectors. She has led broad multi-disciplinary commercial, economic reform and post-crises foreign assistance programs in over 30 countries in Europe, Eurasia, East Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
Her successful leadership of these and other projects is based on a sound working knowledge of how broad-based development initiatives can be designed and implemented to help achieve immediate and tangible results – even under difficult economic, political and logistical circumstances. Her sector experience is in economic and democratic governance and infrastructure at the national and sub-national level.
