Scott Calhoun has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services sector. He has implemented donor-funded programs working with governments and central banks in transitional economies to carry out reforms that promote macro-economic stability and develop financial sectors capable of supporting private sector growth. He has worked across emerging Europe, Eurasia and Central Asia.
Scott’s work encompasses a variety of roles ranging from a resident advisor to the Governor and Vice Governors of an emerging Europe central bank; to providing advice to a Eurasia government about interventions needed to improve access to export finance for small-to-medium -size enterprises.
His work on donor-funded financial sector programs includes: banking, non-bank lenders, leasing, insurance, private pension funds, investment funds, securities markets, financial literacy and deterring financial crimes.
