Mark Carey has been a Partner at Deloitte & Touche LLP since 2007 and leads the Federal Audit and Enterprise Risk Services (AERS) and Governance, Regulatory and Risk Strategies (GR&RS) market offering. In addition, he is the Federal representative on the national Governance and Risk Management Integrated Market Offering (IMO) and a member of the National GR&RS leadership team. Mark has over 17 years of risk management, compliance and advisory experience in a wide range of industries, for both commercial and public sector clients. He has assisted clients with risk management transformation work, Enterprise risk management (ERM), risk assessments, modeling and quantification, risk appetite, training and change management.
Mark has authored a number of enterprise risk management articles, white papers, and benchmarking studies and presented extensively on risk related topics. He also has significant international experience and client service in Latin America, South Africa and Europe. Mark received a B.A. in Accounting from the University of Houston, and he is a CPA.
