Anton Kamenov brings over 15 years’ experience in the area of revenue policy and administration, including the development of strategic frameworks, organizational structures, and business processes for revenue collecting agencies, the design of revenue policy, the establishment and training of specialized policy analysis units, and the development and implementation of economic and revenue policy analysis tools.
Throughout his career, Anton has provided revenue policy and administration advice and revenue estimation services to a number of U.S. states and for a number of countries. Most recently, he co-authored leading practice papers on tax administration reform and on information technology for tax administration. As an advisor to the tax department of a Middle Eastern state, he assisted with the restructuring of the tax administration and with the reengineering of its business processes. He also drafted the country’s medium-term tax policy framework and provided revenue estimates for a proposed value added tax.
Anton holds a Master Degree in Finance from S.A. "D.A.Tzenov" in Bulgaria and Bachelor degrees in Mathematics and Economics from Knox College, Illinois.
