Al Banghart is a Defense Supply Chains lead at Deloitte Consulting LLP. With extensive leadership experience in guiding complex Department of Defense (DoD) supply chain and operational logistics initiatives, Al has extensive knowledge in DoD aviation, maritime, automotive, medical, food service, construction, ordinance and small equipment supply chains, as well as retail operations and distribution networks.
As the senior military advisor to the deputy under secretary of defense (logistics and materiel readiness), Al served as the secretary's supply chain, transportation, industrial maintenance, and logistics systems professional-technical expert. He helped lead the development of the vision, strategy and policy for all defense supplies, maintenance, warehousing and distribution operations; and oversaw all military services' global logistics and logistics systems operations and initiatives.
