In December 2009, the Deloitte Center for Banking Solutions published its Outlook 2010, which summarized five trends that would dominate the banking and securities industry. At that time, we noted that legislation will likely be proposed to impose new systemic risk procedures, create a new consumer protection agency, and to streamline regulatory agencies and procedures.
