Mr. Gardner is a principal with over 27 years of experience in industry and management consulting. With Deloitte for 25 years, he currently serves as the US and Global Consulting lead for Deloitte’s Automotive and Process and Industrial Products industry sectors. He has served manufacturing clients on a global basis and has extensive experience in strategy development, operations improvement, business transformation, merger integration and information technology implementation.
He is a frequent speaker regarding automotive industry transformation and has published articles on Strategic Agility and Manufacturing Sourcing Strategies. Prior to joining Deloitte, Mr. Gardner was an engineer with McDonnell Douglas Technical Services at NASA in Houston, Texas where he specialized in space suit systems and space shuttle flight operations support. Mark’s recently served organizations include Chrysler, Harley Davidson, Honda, Masco, Owens Illinois and Westinghouse.
