Meet Neal Ganguli

Director, Deloitte Consulting LLP

Neal Ganguli is a director in Deloitte Consulting LLP’s (Deloitte Consulting)’s U.S. Automotive practice. He leads Deloitte Consulting’s efforts in the automotive supply base, and is primarily responsible for leading our Business Model Transformation service line within the automotive sector. In these roles, he is responsible for the strategic direction and operational execution of Deloitte Consulting’s growth and client service within the automotive supply base.

Neal has an established track record of leading efforts with C-level management teams at automotive companies to enhance performance and profitability. He has led major transformation efforts at numerous automotive clients over his 15 years of consulting experience. He has worked side-by-side with senior management, boards of directors, as well as financial owners to help develop and execute top-priority, strategic initiatives. He has significant experience formulating and executing new product-market strategies, restructuring global manufacturing and supply chain operations, architecting corporate turnarounds, and leading corporate reorganizations.

Prior to joining Deloitte Consulting in 2011, Neal gained consulting leadership experience at two other major consulting firms. He has authored several articles and points-of-view on issues facing the automotive industry, and has worked with enterprises supplying the auto industry, including the steel, glass, and resins industries.

Neal has an MBA from University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. Prior to that, Neal was a National Talent Scholar in India, and got his undergraduate degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, where he was awarded the Chandiramani Trophy for Best Performance in Academic and Extra-curricular activities for the outgoing class.
