Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD) brings about significant changes for U.S. managers and the funds they manage and market in the European Union. Recently, the European Securities and Markets Authority published its final report setting out guidelines for the remuneration of alternative investment fund managers. The guidelines will apply to alternative investment funds including hedge funds, private equity funds, real estate funds, and managers of non-UCITS. This new and comprehensive AIFMD regulatory framework will be in place as of July 22, 2013.

Please join us for an interactive webcast where Deloitte's top professionals will help you plan for this new framework as well as give you guidance and practical insights so you can be ready when these new guidelines take full effect. Specific topics to be covered include:

  • Impacts on distribution
  • Key requirements of the directive
  • Options available and steps to compliance
