Mid America

Houston CPE Ethics Session - April 18

200 alumni and practitioners gathered at the Deloitte Center for Energy Solutions in the Houston office. After a continental breakfast and a warm welcome from Houston Alumni Champion, Jason Spann, Dr. Wayne Shaw discussed ethics with the attendees using candid and real life examples of how to make ethical decisions on a daily basis.

Kansas City Alumnae WIN Luncheon - April 26

Over 40 Kansas City alumnae and practitioners took a break from their workday to gather for lunch and networking at Lidia’s in downtown Kansas City hosted by Kansas City Alumni Champion, Dana Jermain. One of the highlight’s of the day was networking bingo where two lucky attendees hit bingo and won a Lidia’s cookbook to take home to assist with their own Italian cuisine.

Austin Alumni Celebration - May 9

Over 80 alumni and practitioners gathered for Austin’s annual alumni celebration which was held at Lambert’s this year. The barbecue wasn’t the only thing that was hot and spicy! Even though the air conditioning broke in the historic event venue attendees enjoyed some cool company at the networking reception and were thrilled to meet new Austin Managing Partner, Kathleen Farlow.

West

LA & Orange County, Consumer Business Alumni Dinner and Wine Pairing - April 23 & 24
Il Fornaio in South Bay and Irvine hosted two separate groups of alumni either from the consumer business industry or who currently work in the industry. Consumer business leaders from each marketplace joined alums for a delicious Italian dinner and wine pairing.

Silicon Valley CPE Session, Tech Panel and Networking Session - April 24
There was something for everyone at our annual Silicon Valley event, hosted by Silicon Valley OMP Garrett Herbert at the Four Seasons Palo Alto. Nearly 200 alumni and practitioners enjoyed a CPE update on both Tax and Audit followed by a Tech Panel where Silicon Valley leaders discussed Progressive Technology and the Enterprise: How new technologies are taking hold in the IT environment. Lastly, attendees enjoyed a networking event to conclude the event.

Seattle Consulting Spring Social - May 3
The Seattle Consulting practice hosted their local alumni for a second year at the Canlis Penthouse where attendees enjoyed a bird's eye, breathtaking view of Lake Union and the Cascade Mountains on a spectacular, sunny Seattle day.

Seattle Tax Spring Social - May 16
Jolene Cox, Seattle Tax Alumni Champion hosted Seattle Tax alums at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue for the Sip, Swirl, and Schmooze themed networking event. A sampling of wine was available for all attendees to try.

Southeast

Atlanta Consulting  - April 18
More than 90 Deloitte Consulting alumni and current professionals gathered at The Fox Theatre in Atlanta for our annual Consulting alumni event. ‘Welcome Deloitte Alumni’ was prominently displayed on the Marquee.

Jacksonville alumni event -  May 2
Approximately 50 Deloitte alumni and current professionals gathered at Seven Bridges Grille and Brewery in Jacksonville for a night of networking.

West Palm Beach alumni eventt - May 9
IL Bellagio at City Place in West Palm Beach was the place to be on May 9 as more than 60 alumni and current professionals gathered to connect with former colleagues and make new friends.

Nashville alumni event  - May 23
The Loft at Sambuca Restaurant in Nashville was hopping on May 23 as 70 alumni and current professionals took in the incredible view of the city while reconnecting with their former colleagues.

Northeast

Philadelphia alumni event  - April 25

The Philadelphia office hosted their annual event at the Philadelphia Country Club. More than 200 alumni and Deloitte professionals networked and listened to Philadelphia’s Office Managing Partner, Rob McNeil, speak about the Philly practice.

New York Consumer Focused Alumni Event  - May 2

New York's Consumer Focused Alumni Event was held at Noir—a trendy and upscale lounge. About 70 alumni and Deloitte professionals from our consumer focused industries—Technology, Media, Telecommunication, Retail, Consumer Products and Travel and Hospitality—were in attendance. The crowed was welcomed by Deloitte’s Jeffrey M. Farin, Anthony Stupore, and Joe Welter.

Boston Financial Services Industry Alumni Gathering  - May 2

The Boston practice held its third annual Financial Services Industry Alumni Gathering where more than 50 alumni and Deloitte professionals were in attendance. This event gave alumni and Deloitte professionals the opportunity to reconnect and network with fellow financial services industry peers.

Boston Gen Y Event  - May 16

Approximately 60 young alumni attended the Boston Gen Y Event at Whiskey Priest on May 16. The group reconnected with friends and Deloitte colleagues.

Central

Buffalo Alumni Event  - May 2
More than 50 alumni and Deloitte professionals attended the Buffalo Alumni Event at The Park Country Club of Buffalo. Attendees enjoyed hors d'oeuvres and cocktails as they networked and chatted.

Chicago Tax Alumni & Friends Event  - May 2
A lively crowd of Deloitte alumni, Andersen alumni, and current Deloitte practitioners packed the rooftop of Chicago’s hot spot, the Paris Club, on Thursday, May 2nd.   This annual event has grown into our largest Chicago alumni gathering from year to year and is much anticipated by both alumni and current employees.  

Cincinnati Alumni Event  - May 16
Almost 120 attendees gathered at the Moerlein Lager House for an exciting evening of connections and catching up.  Office Managing Partner, Jim Ellerhorst, welcomed alumni and encouraged them to stay connected for future events.

Detroit Alumni CPE Session and Reception - May 16
The annual Detroit alumni event had an updated format this year offering 2 hours of CPE credit to alumni.  Hosted at the elegant Townsend Hotel, over 130 attendees gathered for CPE training and an exciting reception.
