Faculty Support Every year, the Foundation works directly with educators and professional associations to sponsor a number of initiatives that generate new ideas for the classroom, share information about the current state of the practice, support relevant practical research, promote teaching excellence and provide networking opportunities for many faculty. |

Ph.D. Support The Foundation has supported accounting Ph.D. education for decades through its Doctoral Fellowship Program and annual sponsorship of the American Accounting Association (AAA)/Deloitte/J. Michael Cook Doctoral Consortium. It is also at the forefront with the AICPA Foundation, Big Four public accounting firms and many other large CPA firms and state societies to help reverse the shortage of Ph.D. accounting faculty in the United States by increasing the pipeline of quality doctoral candidates in accounting — the future educators of the future leaders of the accounting profession. |
