Recent research conducted by Deloitte shows that young people are making college and career decisions on limited information starting as early as ages 12-14. It further indicates most young people believe the start of a new career is the end of the good times in their lives. In 2007, the Deloitte Foundation began sponsoring the Life Inc. program to expand students' views of future careers in a fun and interactive way.

The Deloitte Foundation realizes that today's young people are tomorrow's talent, and understands the value of exposing them to the many potential career options. The Deloitte Foundation teamed with Neale Godfrey, author of Life Inc.: The Ultimate Career Guide for Young People to provide her book and other valuable tools to help middle and high school students begin thinking about possible careers.
