The annual Tax Faculty Symposium sponsored by the Deloitte Foundation, the not-for-profit arm of Deloitte LLP, connects tax educators from top colleges and universities with leaders from Deloitte Tax LLP (Deloitte Tax). During the two-day symposium held April 28 and April 29 participants examined the current regulatory and legislative environments and discuss business strategies being used by today’s practicing professionals. Other topics to be discussed include updates on IFRS, tax provision automation, tax considerations in mergers and acquisitions and estate & gift taxation.
