Echevarria Continues the Conversation on Equal Pay and Inclusion
On September 27, 2013, former U.S. CEO Joe Echevarria participated in a panel discussion at the Center for American Progress. The conversation centered on issues like equal pay and inclusion, which are both topics closely aligned with Deloitte’s core values.
During the panel, Echevarria discussed the need for companies to create programs and balance for professionals. He highlighted that not only are these policies great for employees, but they bolster the success of business initiatives as well. Echevarria also noted that, “What really matters, in the end, is that an organization embraces the change… That’s where you make the difference.”
