Meet Lee Dittmar

Principal, Deloitte Consulting LLP

Lee is a Principal with Deloitte Consulting LLP and a senior partner in the Information Management Practice. He is currently focused on consulting programs to improve information management and analytic capabilities. He serves as National Sales Leader for the Deloitte Analytics Institute and the US Analytics practice. Lee has a strong track record helping clients deal with the challenges and opportunities created by, increased governance expectations, risk management competitive pressures, and compliance requirements.

An accomplished speaker and author, Lee is a recognized thought leader regarding how organizations can improve business performance and risk management by better aligning information management, technology and analytic capabilities with business needs. He has developed frameworks and provided guidance regarding the role of information technology in improving performance and in enabling analytic capabilities.

Lee has helped senior executives respond to the forces of change unleashed over the past decade. He founded and led Deloitte’s Sarbanes-Oxley and GRC consulting practices from 2003 through 2009. Treasury and Risk Management magazine identified him as among the 100 most influential people in finance in 2005, 2006 and again in 2007. Consulting Magazine named him to its list of The Top 25 Consultants in 2006.

Lee serves in a variety of leadership roles. He leads the Information Management practice for the Energy and Resources industry practice, serving O&G and Utility clients. Lee serves as the lead consulting principal for key clients. He also plays leadership roles for several of Deloitte’s strategic alliances.

Lee has over 30 years of consulting experience dealing with a wide variety of strategic and operational challenges, and helping clients implement major strategy, process and technology improvements. Lee’s work has encompassed strategy, operations, information technology implementation, education & training. He has led consulting engagements of many types and sizes, for a wide variety of clients in the United States, Japan, Canada and Central America, and has provided advice and counsel to projects in Europe, Australia, China, South Africa and South America.

Lee holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Drexel University and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
