Business Resource Groups

Fostering a culture of openness, collaboration, and creativity

In a complex and large organization such as Deloitte, it might not be easy to see how our professionals could feel as if they are a part of a close-knit family. But, the people of Deloitte form strong bonds with each other in many ways: through their offices, functions, industries, and the client teams on which they work. And to further expand their networks and connect with those who share similar backgrounds, many of our people belong to one or more of our business resource groups (BRGs).

Involvement in BRGs can also be a career enhancer. Those involved in BRGs grow in many ways: through professional development opportunities, such as serving on committees or in leadership roles; participating in recruiting activities; building relationships with local communities outside Deloitte; and providing feedback to Deloitte leadership on related policies and practices.

Our BRGs are closely aligned with our business objectives; foster a culture of openness, collaboration, and camaraderie; and allow for participation in professional development activities, recruiting events, and community involvement. In addition to our Women’s Initiative, we currently have seven nationally recognized BRGs with more than 100 chapters throughout the United States:

  • Ability First & Allies BRG (Ability BRG)
  • Armed Forces & Allies BRG (Armed Forces)
  • Asian-American Alliance & Allies BRG (ABRG)
  • Black Employee Network & Allies BRG (BEN)
  • Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender Employees & Allies (GLOBE)
  • Hispanic/Latino(a) Employee Network & Allies BRG (HNet)
  • International Business Resource Group & Allies (IBRG)

As used in this document, “Deloitte” means Deloitte LLP [and its subsidiaries]. Please see www.deloitte.com/us/about for a detailed description of the legal structure of Deloitte LLP and its subsidiaries. Certain services may not be available to attest clients under the rules and regulations of public accounting.
