This year marked Deloitte’s 14th annual IMPACT Day, a celebration of our longstanding commitment to our communities. On June 7, tens of thousands of Deloitte personnel volunteered on more than 800 service projects in 80 communities.

Many East Coast volunteers faced unusually rough weather due to Tropical Storm Andrea, but even record rainfalls couldn't stop Team Deloitte from achieving positive change.

Whether volunteering time to skills-based projects or community improvement efforts, outdoors or indoors, at schools, offices or centers, our corps of Deloitte blue shirts was visibly out in force throughout the U.S.

Accelerating change – from one day to every day

The power of IMPACT Day extends well beyond the volunteering on June 7; it is the centerpiece of our longstanding efforts in the community.

The majority of IMPACT Day projects were with nonprofits where we are active year round via pro bono work, board service and other means of skills-based volunteerism.

This IMPACT Day, we introduced our new community impact strategy called The Impact Imperative. This strategy builds on our organization’s decades-long commitment to community with a sharper focus on the outcomes we can drive by doing what we do best – tapping into the skills and talents of our people.
