Deloitte has a long history of supporting United Way through skilled-based volunteerism, pro bono service, board leadership and our award-winning workplace giving campaign. The Deloitte/United Way Education Collaborative is just the latest way we are working to increase our collective impact.
The Deloitte/United Way Education Collaborative is a workplace giving option that encourages our people to direct their United Way contributions to support education programs, particularly those that aim to create a college-going culture in low-income areas.
The collaborative supports local United Way programs that share Deloitte’s commitment to decreasing high school dropout rates and enhancing college readiness. In just two years, our people have given more than $2 million to support United Way education programs in Chicago, Cincinnati, Detroit, Dallas, Jacksonville, Los Angeles, Nashville/Hermitage, Omaha, Philadelphia, San Francisco, New York, New Jersey and Connecticut Tri-state cities and Washington, D.C.
