Deloitte recently conducted an evaluation of the FinMart Reporting Project in response to the US House of Representatives Office of the CAO initiative in order to assess the stability and scalability of adding additional Members, Committees, and Leadership Office (MCL) users to FinMart
The scope of the project involved review of the organization, processes, and technology deployed in order to support FinMart Reporting. Deloitte interviewed FinMart stakeholder groups, grouped and reviewed their observations and provided recommendations for the stability and scalability of the FinMart Rollout to the MCL users that were represented in the following areas:
- File loading process and error processing
- Environment and operations
- Reporting
- Security authorization
- System backup and accuracy
- Completeness of documentation to support business processes
