Michelle Collins, vice chairman, Deloitte LLP, is the leader for the U.S. Automotive practice.
Michelle has been working in the automotive sector as an auditor since 1984 and has served as a lead client service partner and as an advisory partner to both attest and non-attest clients. She is a trusted business adviser to many clients and client service teams. In her role as the U.S. Automotive sector leader, Michelle is responsible for leading audit, tax, consulting and financial advisory work for the automotive sector. She also has depth and experience advising automotive clients on a variety of critical business issues, including audit, merger and acquisition transactions, restructuring, risk assessment and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
Michelle is a certified public accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. She earned her bachelor of science degree in accountancy from Western Michigan University.
