Meet Rick Carr
Principal, Deloitte Consulting LLP
Rick Carr serves as the Oil & Gas Operations and Supply Chain Lead within the Energy and Resources Group at Deloitte Consulting LLP. This practice area includes operational excellence and value management for oil and gas drilling, operations, maintenance, capital projects and supply chain. Rick also serves as the exploration and production champion across Deloitte functions to help drive synergies and solutions to the sector for our clients.
Rick has deep knowledge and experience in various supply chain and operational roles both in industry, for oil and gas and industrial companies as well as consulting. This experience includes many years of leading and delivering operational improvements, business process reengineering, transformation and cost management programs related to capital projects, drilling and operations, maintenance, procurement and logistics. He has led multiple global supply chain transformation initiatives for oil and gas companies including elements of strategy, process and technology solutions.
Rick has served oil and gas and industrial companies for almost 20 years. Prior to working with Deloitte, he served as the Global Procurement Center of Excellence Lead for a Fortune 100 industrials company and prior to that he was a partner at a technology consulting organization where he had responsibility for asset management and supply chain for the exploration and production sector.
He graduated from Pepperdine University with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and received a Master in Business Administration from Alaska Pacific University.
