Bill provides strategic and operational leadership over Deloitte’s Finance Operations & Controls Transformation (FO&CT) market offering. The offering focuses on assessing, testing and improving processes and controls, transforming the way clients effectively address business, technology and financial statement risk.
Bill has more than 25 years of business experience, including executive financial management, strategic and operational consulting, and auditing. He has hands-on experience in the areas of business combinations/integration, SEC reporting, investor relations, international operations, strategic planning and operational execution.
In addition to his role as the FO&CT Managing Partner and serving clients, Bill works closely with Deloitte’s U.S. Chief Financial Offer (CFO) Program. The CFO Program enables Deloitte to achieve its strategic vision "to be recognized as the pre-eminent advisor to the CFO." Its mission is to develop and sustain deep advisory relationships with the CFOs of key clients by providing cross-functional service delivery support, training, and intellectual capital.
In this capacity, Bill serves as the Managing Partner of the CFO Academy. The CFO Academy offers a select group of established professionals a unique opportunity to prepare for the CFO role through an experiential curriculum designed to focus on enhancing skills for effective leadership and influence, and bridge gaps in professional experience by building on technical competencies. Bill’s responsibilities include leading the execution of the CFO Academy program and sessions, including overseeing the design and development of a curriculum that addresses the needs of future CFOs, and managing the alumni program, which allows Academy alumni to strengthen the network of peers established during the Academy.

Bill serves as the lead client service partner or advisory partner for a number of Deloitte's strategic clients, including several large technology and life sciences clients.
Prior experience:
- CFO of a global technology solutions organization. Helped globalize the business and double its revenue while significantly increasing profitability
- Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer of a $1.5B global high tech manufacturer. Over 60 controllers from US, Europe, and Asia reporting into position
- Created and led strategic and operational consulting practices at another large firm
